EA games pulled the lug on Dungeon Keeper, so they could focus their team on the making of Harry Potter games. It never got further than a few scetches to my knowledge. They then announced Dungeon Keeper III: war for the overwolrd, which was planned to be the first Dungeon Keeper game above the ground. Dungeon Keeper II which is a different game but is officially part of the Dungeon Keeper series, (made by the same producer, but it is definetly different).
They were sold together as a bundle named Dungeon Keeper Gold edition.
There is Dungeon Keeper 1 and Deeper dungeons which is more or less an extention pack on Dungeon Keeper 1. People who play minecraft tend to not know this history, and boast how Minecraft is the first game where you can dig around. The concept of the game Minecraft was based partially of Dungeon Keeper.
